The Chromebook Technology
听is the common name for a category of computer, usually notebooks, run by a system called听, created by Google instead of the usual Microsoft Windows.
Chromebooks works great with听, a cloud software suite the School is already proficiently using since 2018.
Chromebooks are usually lighter, cheaper and with longer lasting battery compared to Windows鈥� laptops. They have some limitations, of course, but 鈥� anyway 鈥� they鈥檙e a great solution for a personal device to use in school.
Which one to buy?
Technical specifications and minimum requirements:
- Operating System: Chromebook (Windows, macOS/Apple and Linux听are not permitted)
- RAM: 8 GB minimum
- Storage: 128 GB minimum
- Processor: Intel N100 or higher (e.g. Intel Core 3 or above). Intel processors only; MediaTek and ARM-based processors are not permitted.
- Display: 14″ or 15″ touchscreen, Full HD (1920 脳 1080) or higher, with stylus support
